Steven Patrick Morrissey
Steven Patrick Morrissey

I have been called on to capture thousands of images presenting the feeling, strength, power, enthusiasm, and expressions of many of the contemporary musical artists of the last 25 years.

My photographs, a combination of these magical and unrepeatable moments, bridge the gap between the public and the artists while they perform.

Backstage, tour work, pit photography, documentary, media kits, publicity photos.  I have more than 20 years of experience capturing individual artists and groups for publications, newspapers, magazines and hardcover's.

I have chronicled many unique musical events - Britney Spears' rehearsals and her opening concert for her 2001 tour - Dime Bag Darryl's last concert and the aftermath (published in Rolling Stone and around the world).

I have photographed hundreds of acts that were relatively unknown at the time and only later became popular.

Let me bring to life the images that will highlight your performance.  I've spent decades around the biggest stars, the most complicated productions, the camera shy, and the extroverts. Don't let an amateur near the heart and soul of your music.  Call someone who has wide experience in capturing the moment when your art becomes your life.  With more than 20 years of photojournalism experience I have perfected the art of a speedy turn around when time is of the essence.
